Nora Stillman

Nora O. Stillman recently moved to London from New York City, where she maintained a successful career as a drama specialist. While working as a professional actress and voice over artist, Nora realised the desire to explore the use of drama in the areas of education and social justice.

Nora believes passionately in the transformative possibilities drama can provide in various community environments. As an artist and educator, she is committed to using drama as a medium to celebrate, explore, interrogate, reflect and nurture — thus supporting the creative journey necessary to generate change.Nora has taught in a variety of classrooms and communities in America and globally.

As a resident teaching artist with the prestigious Theatre Development Fund, Nora devised and facilitated workshops for students surrounding such themes as diversity, discrimination and gender politics, as well as implementing professional development workshops for New York City Teachers and Regional Arts Specialists. Nora holds a Masters in Educational Theatre from New York University, where she was co-founder of The Womens Theatre Collective.
