Teams: We can do it together!
“The whole is greater
than the sum of the parts”… Effective teamwork is based on
establishing group relationships and dynamics by allowing
team-members to appreciate each member’s unique strengths.
This is a completely
bespoke programme, in which delegates will share commonalities
and encouraging open rapport in an informal and constructive
way. This allows participants to truly communicate their
strengths to others. By using language such as:
- “This is who I
am….” and
- “These are the
skills/attributes/qualities that I can bring to the table”,
participants will not only re-affirm their own personal
strengths but also take ownership of what they contribute to
their group.
The team will examine
the key questions:
- What is teamwork?
Definition and dynamics
- What are the
important elements in successful teamwork? Roles,
responsibilities and achievements
- How can we become a
high-performing team? Setting team goals, values and
encouraging open and honest communication
These sessions are
designed around creating effective team-working conditions and
dynamics to allow participants to execute and deliver in an
increasingly challenging world.
Participants will leave
with:
- The understanding
of their own personal strengths within team-working
scenarios
- Confidence to
verbalise as well as focus their contribution in the areas
they are the strongest or most-interested in
- A solid foundation
of approaches and techniques which will allow them to
discover and appreciate others’ assets that will can
contribute to team success
- A framework by
which to align team goals and effectiveness
