We can help
Not all Shopify partners are based where they say they are. Some might have a +971 number, but have offices elsewhere. Some Shopify website builders have sales in Dubai, but the delivery is done somewhere else. We have seen Shopify Plus partners come and go. We are still here.
Localisation is important. Not just the Shopify code platform, but the integrations, plugins, apps and ecosystem providers. Just because it works on a YouTube video made in Vancouver, doesn’t mean it will work in Riyadh or Abu Dhabi.

We’ve also taught it. Aquitude has run ecommerce coaching and training for government, working with merchants making the move from offline retail to online for the first time.
Not anymore. Aquitude was a Shopify partner, but we don’t build Shopify websites anymore. We can. But we choose not to. We work with Shopify partners who we know can deliver projects for the GCC. We regularly evaluate Shopify projects against the needs of local merchants and customers. If Shopify is right for you, then we can recommend a Shopify, or Shopify Plus partner
It depends. Shopify partners and agencies will say yes, without understanding what your specific requirements are or understanding what is possible and what is not in Dubai and the wider Middle East. Larger organisations may find Adobe Commerce or platforms developed by Salesforce or SAP more suitable. Make sure to ask any Shopify agency in Dubai or Riyadh if they have delivered a project in Arabic with a right to left design. It’s harder than it looks.
